Our brands Initiatives
Wrocław Fashion Outlet is a place committed to the idea of sustainability, just like the brands that help create it. See what initiatives they are taking to care for the environment.
ADIDAS
Adidas is seeking ways to ensure that most products are made using a significant amount of preferred materials from recycled or renewable sources. Since 2024, the brand has been replacing newly produced plastic with recycled plastic wherever possible.
ASICS
Due to the harmful impact of primary polyester production on the environment, ASICS aims to replace (by 2030) all polyester materials used in clothing and footwear with more sustainable alternatives sourced from recycled materials.
In the Novablast 3 LE model, the main part of the upper is made from at least 20% recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The insole is produced using a special dyeing method that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by about 45% compared to conventional dyeing technologies.
ECCO
Ecco uses the ECCO DriTan™ technology in its leather tanning process, which allows for the use of moisture already present in the leather, thereby saving large amounts of water. Since introducing this method, ECCO has saved 20 liters of water per hide and over 25 million liters of water annually across its production. In some models, Ecco also uses rubber that would otherwise be production waste; this rubber is recycled and used to create soles with good grip.
FAMILY OPTIC
Family Optic offers Polaroid glasses made from biobased and recycled materials. Their collection includes models made from recycled metal, bio-based polyamide, and recycled polycarbonate.
Bio-based polyamide is a bioplastic produced with over 45% renewable materials. Recycled polycarbonate, on the other hand, contains at least 95% certified material sourced from plastic waste.
OUTLY
Outly offers eco-friendly glasses from the Mita brand. Mita products are made from durable materials through an innovative recycling process - each pair of stylish glasses requires 5 plastic bottles. All lenses used in optical models are environmentally friendly. Additionally, the aluminum used in the production of the glasses can be recycled infinitely without losing quality. Mita products are made from materials that are 99% recyclable.
Time Trend
In the Time Trend salon, you can find, among other things, solar-powered watches, which are fueled by solar energy, making them more eco-friendly. While a quartz mechanism uses a conventional single-use battery, a solar mechanism can recharge the battery multiple times by harnessing solar energy. Thanks to the solar panels, which are invisible to the naked eye and mounted on the watch face, the capacitor receives electrical energy converted from solar energy, powering the watch mechanism.
